Testimonials

“We have known Kate for over 20 years and throughout that time and to this day, she has held a loving, nurturing, and inspirational presence in our lives. Her deep devotion to the practice and teaching of yoga has been a guiding light for us individually, together as a couple, and through the pregnancy and birth of both of our children. Kate’s pregnancy yoga classes and active birthing classesfor couples supported us and gave us the strength and knowledge to be able to birth our children naturally in our home. Kate attended both of our births as our cherished doula. Kate has been there with us through many of the most sacred moments in our lives always sharing unbounded love, guidance, and a hand to hold through challenges. Kate is a bright light of wisdom and warmth, and we are forever grateful to have her in our lives.”

“Kate is my favourite yoga instructor.  There is always a beautiful flow in her class which take you on a journey from one pose to the next.  I feel light while we move - like a dance.  And then sometimes I feel like I’ve had a strong workout.  Kate has natural instinct to read the room and know what her class needs at that moment.

There is a term that Kate’s students have created called ‘Kateisms’  which reference Kate’s quotes that lift and inspire.

Kate has said in class that “she is conductor of the orchestra, you are the ones who make the music”

These ‘Kateisms’ guided me through a time of recovery and helped me find myself again.  A stronger, kinder, grateful self which was built through a new love of yoga.

I have been very lucky to attend a couple of retreats which Kate has run, and they have been life changing.  If you have the opportunity to attend one don’t hesitate.  You will find that a warm smile will appear on your face when you remember the time you spent on these special gatherings.”

“I have practised yoga with Kate for many years. She imparts such
wisdom and has always made me feel so safe and held. She has inspired
me to move forward in my life, when challenges were laid before me
that seemed insurmountable.
I will always be grateful for you, Kate.”
